The Sailing School is at the heart of our mission to encourage and support junior sailors. Started in 1952, it is open to all, and is the envy of many clubs. Each summer we instruct over 200 children in a wide variety of classes. We have an extensive fleet of Optis, 420s, Sonars, Lasers, Open Bics, and two foiling UFOs. The foundation helps buy boats and new sails to assure good learning and racing experiences. We also give all the students a chance to sail on big boats – and we offer grants for out-of-town regattas.
